PE with Mark

For term two we have a man called Mark coming to help us learn basic PE skills. He is from Sports Canterbury and he has heaps of fun games to teach us!

Before the holidays we got to have a special one off session with him. We learnt how to play Toilet tag/Banana tag, Green light/Red light and Strike ball.

Here are some photos to show you what we got up to, it was heaps of fun! We can’t wait until next term when we get to work with him and play fun games every Monday!

A visit from Thailand

A couple of weeks before the end of Term one we had a visit from some Thai students from the College.

We had a special assembly in the morning. We sang the National Anthem and School is Number One. Then they sang a song, when they finished that we went back to class.

After the assembly Miss Brown read us a story about an Easter egg farm and some of the Thai students snuck in! Once Miss Brown had finished the story they introduced themselves and we all said ‘Hello’.

Then we got to design our own Easter egg and so did the Thai students. They were awesome artists and helped us to draw some cool things on our Easter eggs.

They got to stay until lunchtime and we had such a good time hanging out with them!

Hockey Skills 2014

In term one this year we were really lucky because we got to practise our hockey skills. We learnt how to push and stop the ball, tackle the ball off another player and we even got to try and juggle the ball.

Joyce and Tania were awesome coaches!!!
