Ma is white, Whero is Red...

This term we are learning the colours in Maori, we know heaps now and are getting much better at naming them without having to sing the song! 

Today we had a treasure hunt to find things around our room that were different colours... 

We had to find something that was: kakariki, whero, kowhai, karaka, poroporo, mawhero and mangu/pongo. We did really well!
